My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the methods and environments in which they learn best vary​ greatly.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners who are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities I am requesting for my students have real-life situations that will help my students learn. The STEM bins and the construction materials will expose my students to STEM and give them opportunities to explore STEM-related concepts at a developmentally-appropriate level. This STEM project will allow my students to use their imagination as they explore and discover math and science concepts while using hands-on materials such as Makedo and VR using the Ipod and Nearpod tools.

With these STEM materials, my students will be able to be innovative and creative.

My students will understand that math and science can be exciting and interesting. My students will use these STEM materials to build and create projects that they can be proud of.

These STEM materials will benefit my students as they become excited about STEM and STEM-related careers. These materials will also allow my students to be creative using critical thinking skills in the STEM engineering design process.
