Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hands-on learning is crucial for math and science education especially with English Language Learners and Special Needs students. My students need enriching hands-on STEM learning activities to continue fostering their curiosity and engagement in science and math.

This project will help encourage, improve and increase student engagement, but ultimately help increase student academic achievement.

Providing these Magna Tiles, puzzles and other rich STEM learning materials can help my students grasp STEM concepts and vocabulary that otherwise could be difficult to understand. Collaboration and problem solving will also be fostered while students are exploring the science and math learning activities.
