This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All students love to explore and be engaged in their learning. In the STEM lab, we work hard to provide these meaningful experiences for all of the students at May Howard. As you know, the T in STEM standards for technology, which we are currently lacking in the lab.
This iPad will allow students to have access to various programs where they can show their skills and creativity.
I plan to have my students create stop-motion videos and learn more about coding this school year. If we receive these materials, I will then be able to purchase more robots for our classroom as well that need access to various programs on the iPads. Technology is the way of the world and we need to appropriately prepare our students for their future.
