My Project
STEM Lab Upgrade: Empowering Student Scientists
I teach an incredible group of 9th and 10th-grade students who are curious, resilient, and eager to learn, many of whom are English Language Learners navigating academic content and a new language.
They bring diverse perspectives and a strong desire to succeed in science, even when faced with limited resources. Providing everyday essentials like tissues and pencils removes small barriers that can distract from learning. File folder organizers will help students stay on top of their work and develop responsibility. At the same time, a laminator will allow me to create durable visual aids, anchor charts, and vocabulary supports that can be reused throughout the year. These tools may seem simple, but they help create a clean, organized, and inclusive environment where students feel ready to engage, explore, and thrive.
