This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my Honors Anatomy and Physiology class we do a lot of labs. In these labs they can get really messy! We have a lab where we have to develop a helmet for the head that is capable of preventing mild traumatic brain injuries.

Students explore physics and create a helmet for an egg (aka their brain!) and must attempt to drop it from various heights.

During this, the eggs shatter and yolk gets everywhere. We need the power mop attached to help clean all of these messy labs! As for the rocking chairs, we have some heart rate labs that require total relaxation in order to find resting heartrate while sitting. Sadly our classroom chairs do not allow the kids to relax completely. We need these reclining chairs to allow them to drop their heart rates effectively.
