Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, curious, and eager to explore hands-on learning. To support their growth as innovators, I am requesting materials that will engage them in circuit-based STEAM projects. These resources include copper tape, conductive thread, and LED lights to create unique circuits. The Snap Circuit BRIC kits and squishy circuit supplies, paired with diodes, copper tape, crocodile clips, slime, and Play-Doh, will allow students to build interactive projects that combine engineering and creativity. How-to books will guide them in understanding key concepts, while items like pencils, chart paper, sticky notes, and paint pens will support their design and planning stages.

Our goal is to empower students to become problem-solvers through hands-on experimentation.

By using these materials, students will explore how circuits function in real-world applications, from lighting systems to interactive art. The bamboo marker holder, binder clips, and tape dispensers will help organize materials, ensuring students can collaborate effectively.

My students are remarkable because they embrace challenges with excitement and thrive in creative environments. This project will allow them to combine science, technology, engineering, art, and math while building circuits that showcase their unique ideas.
