My Students

This dual immersion classroom is full of fun, hardworking first graders. It is diverse with many different cultures and backgrounds. They are a sweet group wanting to learn and become the best readers that they can be. From the minute they walk into the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me.

As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to support my students' academic growth and their desires to read every day.

My Project

Because of COVID, my students have not really had the joys of hands on learning and teamwork! They've had to learn how to do things with their own materials and to sit 6 feet apart. Even with these challenges, my students have shown such strength through it all! They are curious about everything and they want to learn!

With these materials my students will have the opportunity to share..not only in materials, but their curiosity and thirst of knowledge.

We will get to delve deeper into the science standards and explore the different aspects. They will become better thinkers, readers...Scientists!
