My Students
This year starts my second year of teaching and my students are great. My second grade class is full of different levels of learners and I’ve had the opportunity to get to know them through the first week of this year. Our district is a Title I campus and there are many underprivileged students. We have a tight knit community and our students have the best staff looking after them. This year we are working on leadership skills and giving our students a “vision” for their learning. I’m beyond blessed to be a part of this school and get to know my wonderful students.

This year we are working on leadership skills and giving our students a “vision” for their learning. I’m beyond blessed to be a part of this school and get to know my wonderful students. During COVID and social distancing guidelines, students can’t work in grouped stations like they did before. My students need fun and engaging STEM activities to solidify learning topics and broaden their scope. I have a wide range of learning capabilities in my room from reader on a level C to readers on a level Q. We need this!
