Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I see 120 students daily. I see some students for science, others for ELA. . I will use the STEM activities to support our science curriculum. You can't even imagine the impact even one small project, like building a balloon car, can spark the interest of a group of students.
I need to inspire curiosity in my young learners and get them excited about science and the scientific method.
Using these hands on tools will do just that.
In the course of a year, everyday supplies, like pencil sharpeners get over used and just break down. Currently we have a pencil sharpener that whines and then just stops. It may not seem to be related to the other items, but believe me, it will be a huge help to our classroom.
