Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 6th grade students are smart, creative, and curious! With these LEGO building materials we can change the traditional history classroom into a place where they can explore beyond the textbooks! They will be able to recreate important battles, construct the buildings that molded America like the White House and the Capitol building, walk through political campaigns and so much more! Most importantly my students will be able to connect math and science to history, making extraordinary cross curriculum connections that they can take from social studies to all academic areas!
More than half of students from low‑income households
