Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite times of the day is recess. Not just because it is a break from the classroom, but because I get to watch a lot of learning happening on the playground. From social emotional to clarifying concepts, the connections are endless and students are naturally curious. Why not use this to our advantage and provide meaningful play.
Little learners need sunshine and play.
Here in NM we have a lot of sunshine and a lot of learners! With this project, students can connect concepts they learn in the classroom to the real world through playtime during recess. They can use their own knowledge and experience to solidify new skill sets. They will have access to tools that are not readily available everywhere they go. Help me plant the seeds of curiosity so we can watch these littles flourish!
