This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners have such a great interest in STEM, and I want to be able to help them grow their love. I want to add new resources such as magnetic tiles and gears to our STEM station. A new STEM station will help develop their little minds into great engineers and scientists. In addition, I would also like to add to our calm down station, with new fidgets, weighted pillow, and other sensory toys.
As much as my little ones love to build and create during STEM activities, they also have difficulty regulating their emotions during tough times.
I'm hoping they can have an easier time with both of these resources.
