My Project

My kindergarten students are learning their letters, sight words, and how to read for the first time ever! I absolutely love reading to my kids. I also hope each book I purchase and read to them is a fun and exciting read. My goal with each book is that it gets each student excited to read! My kiddos love different books, so I want my classroom library full of a variety of books that interest each student.

At just 5 years old, my students are learning so many different and incredibly important things.

Another set of materials I choose are STEM activities. They are more than just "toys", they get students thinking creativity. I love seeing my students in their groups figuring out these materials and developing their social skills. They love puzzles, building blocks, and magnet blocks. They have not been affected in the school setting as much as older students due to COVID-19, but their younger years are essential to develop their social skills and these materials will help with that tremendously.

I always want my classroom to be a comfortable and exciting place for my students to learn. I love adding new organization materials to our space to help myself and my students stay organized. I am asking for materials such as organization bins, mesh zipper bags, and clipboards to help keep our classroom neat and so we can easily find and use materials.
