This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students enjoy hands-on learning through play. During this play time kids learn to take risks, cooperate with each other as well as become problem-solvers. We need STEM centers to utilize during this exploration time.

These STEM materials will allow my students to plan, design and create while also building friendships with each other.

My students will benefit by developing problem-solving skills as well as learning to work together with their classmates.

Hands-on centers are very important for kindergartners and their growth as critical thinkers. I am very excited to get materials, such as building blocks and magnetic tiles into the children's hands for their imaginations to soar.
