This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I feel very fortunate to teach my little ones. They are a wonderful group of students who truly deserve the world. This is their first experience in an educational setting where they fully develop their motor, listening/oral, and social skills.

Most have never experienced building with blocks, painting, or using technology.

The first 5 years of a child's life are the foundation that shapes their future. During this time they grow at a phenomenal pace that is unequaled to any other time in life. I want to be able to create the best foundation for them!

My Project

The transitional kindergarten curriculum is based on social and motor development, language and creativity. In our classroom we sing, dance, play, build, and create in a daily basis.

The resources that I'm requesting for my students will support our classroom tremendously.

The Stem Bundle, the wooden blocks, and the magna tiles will help my little ones to think and act like real scientist and engineers! My students will be able to plan, build and test different designs. My students will also be developing a variety of skills such as abstract thinking, science, social studies, math, and literacy.

These materials and lessons will motivate my students to go to school every day, engage them in their learning, and support their academic growth.
