My Project
The specific items I'm requesting, which include STEM car making kits (solar and electrical) and 2 Technic LEGO set cars, will play a pivotal role in transforming the way my students learn. By using these kits, I aim to provide my underperforming students with a hands-on, interactive approach to understanding how cars are constructed and how they operate. This approach not only covers fundamental concepts like Newton's laws of motion but also delves into the crucial aspect of energy, which is essential for the upcoming CAST test. These 45 students I work with are special because they face unique challenges in their learning journey, and these kits will help bridge the gap in their education. The school's financial constraints make it difficult to provide such resources, so this project is vital in enhancing their educational experience. Through this project, my goal is to not only teach the required standards but also to ignite a passion for STEM, inspiring these students to explore and potentially pursue careers in the field. I believe that by engaging them in this dynamic learning experience, they will see the incredible possibilities that STEM offers and, in turn, work toward a brighter future.
