My Project
My goal for this project is to give my students a Christmas STEM project so that they are able to work together collaboratively to make this seasonal project. The students will read books from our classroom and school library, learn science vocabulary based on the different seasons, and learn how Christmas is celebrated in other parts of the world. With this project, students will be able to bring together their prior learning and create a project that students are able to build and take home. This will be extremely special to my newcomers because they will be able to create a seasonal tradition that they have not experienced before.

When children work together on projects or group activities, they learn essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. This collaborative environment encourages them to share diverse perspectives and ideas, fostering critical thinking and creativity. Students also become more accountable for their contributions, as they learn the importance of supporting one another to achieve common goals. Overall, collaboration not only enriches the learning experience but also prepares students for future social interactions and cooperative endeavors.
