My Project
All children are naturally inquisitive and curious. By providing hands-on materials for students to explore concepts, they develop essential higher-order and logical thinking. Our school is all about STEM and these items will help support that in our second grade classroom. Students can experience engaging projects, creating using the engineering design process and experimenting.
Second graders can best understand the abstract concepts of quantity, regrouping, and operations by experience with concrete objects that represent large numbers, helping make difficult concepts easy to grasp.
The materials will be used again and again by students as they explore and learn in the classroom.
