My students attend a district in a small town in East Texas. They all share a love and passion for learning! Our district strives hard to provide our students with as many learning opportunities as it can, but with over half of my students coming from a low socioeconomic background the resources can be limited at times. My students enjoy and appreciate any and all learning opportunities they are given! My students come to me everyday ready to learn, and I strive to motivate them in as many positive ways as I can!
My Project
My students need more room to be able to spread out this school year. With the rectangle table I will be able to provide more seating space for my students to safely social distance in our classroom. They will use the fairytale STEM kits during stations when we cover different fairy tales in the near future. I know they will just love getting to be creative and figure out how to solve the problems the characters are having while working collaboratively in very small groups. The timer will also be used during stations so students can easily see how much time they have left to work before we switch.
