Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Special Education students deserve a classroom with modern technology and tangible math manipulatives!

These materials will ensure that my special education second graders will have access to hands-on math learning.

There is so much research supporting the need for hands-on opportunities, especially for neurodivergent students!

The math manipulatives in this project will enhance my student's understanding of fundamental math skills that are critical for their learning in second grade and beyond. I have also requested headphones and a storage cart.

Additionally, I currently display learning materials on my laptop screen. The projector in this project will allow me to show materials on a larger and clearer screen.
