My Students

As a teacher in a school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through third grade with different learning styles and levels, it is difficult to actively engage all students. I teach seventeen, second grade students that are eager to learn new skills and practice them until they are infused in their brain.

The students in my class are excited to accept new challenges with vigor and strive to be the best they can be.

My students are very tech savvy and love to practice new skills using apps and online learning tools as well as using their own hands and minds to complete real life projects. With the assistance of these positive and meaningful learning experiences, students will strive to reach academic excellence and goals.

My Project

My students love to use their hands and minds to create new and innovative designs and turn them into objects. Students attempt to create real life projects like towers, bridges, homes, and machines. Students have the opportunity to design, plan, and create real life projects throughout our STEM activities.

With these STEM materials, my students will be able to use a variety of objects to create and perfect real life engineering projects.

These project based activities encourage problem solving together in groups. The kits introduce STEM projects at the just right level for my students. The kit comes with a set of posters and books that supplies the students with background knowledge to help them complete the STEM projects. Students will have the opportunity to think like scientists and engineers as they complete the projects included in the kit. They will think like scientists and engineers when they complete the included activities. The kits include detailed lesson plans for the teacher and all of the materials necessary to complete the STEM challenge. With the help of these STEM kits, the students will be college and career ready for the 21st century!
