My Project
The best part about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) toys is that students don't even know what they're learning when they play with them. This makes STEM activities ideal for some of our littlest learners - kindergarteners! For the 2023-2024 school year, I want to implement STEM bins into the morning routine in my kindergarten classroom. Each morning, students will come in and start exploring STEM toys to start their day. This will help start the day with fun, low-pressure learning.

Some of the STEM toys included in my list are MagnaTiles, Brain Flakes, Legos, connecting straws, and more. With your help, I am eager to see my students create amazing things with these toys. I have also included some basic supplies like pencils, crayons, and dry-erase markers to help make my first year of teaching, and my students' first year of learning, a success.
