My Project

My new kindergarten class needs your help! They are an active and inquisative group of children. These materials will help a wonderful group of 5-6 year olds learn through creative play, building, and using their imagination.

The materials in this project will give the students a chance to build and create together.

The building logs set will give children a chance to build and create and work on architecture. The magnetic tiles, building blocks, and disc sets will develope motor skills and coordination. They will be able to use these materials to help them be creative and use critical thinking. They will also help children to learn how to work together and share in a group.

When STEM materials are used in a classroom they:

1. Introduce children to various Sciences.

2. They teach problem solving.

3. They make learning fun.

4. They appeal to all kinds of children.

5. They encourage creativity and critical thinking.

6. They teach motor skills and coordination.

Each of the materials below were chosen to meet all of these goals in a Kindergarten classroom.

These materials will have a special time every day to help develop a well rounded education. They will have the chance to learn how to share, take turns, work out problems, and to CREATE! Please consider funding this project so this group of children have the opportunity to be creative and learn through the art of play.
