My Students

My classroom is full of bright, lively third graders who love to learn. Many of my students come to school hungry for knowledge. I strive to engage all students in the power of learning and create lifelong learners who recognize the importance of learning and reading daily.

My students love to read and write and we do so every day.

We are changing the future, one word and one page at a time.

My Project

My students are looking for a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) materials to continue stretching our minds! They are creative thinkers who love to solve real-world problems and think through logical solutions.

This project includes a set of five hardcover STEM books, an architect kit, building blueprints, and an activity all about surviving an earthquake where students become young engineers.

These materials will predominantly be used during morning choice. Morning choice is a time where students work cooperatively on an activity of their choosing. This an opportune time for students to grow socially as well as academically, in an area of particular interest to them. Some materials will also be used for various demonstrations and experiments that relate to our learning topics.

Please help me empower my young learners and remind them that anything is possible when you put your heart and mind to it!
