My Students

My students are curious and tenacious young learners. They are passionate about learning. It takes quality hands on materials to help them learn and grow in kindergarten. My job as their teacher is to provide them with an engaging learning environment.

My kindergarten class is a place for students to explore and learn through inquiry using STEM activities.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will benefit my students in a variety of ways. I plan on using the iPads and 3 Osmos kits during our center rotations. These will help my students with technology, math, and coding in an engaging manner. The Code and Go robot set I plan on introducing so that students can become familiar with coding. I will then create lessons so that they can learn how to code using this simple developmentally appropriate device.

With the right materials, I can grow future engineers, scientists, and architects.

The document camera will help me give quality instruction that students will all benefit from. I would like to be able to show them how to draw out ideas before beginning a project. The teacher pay teacher gift cards will allow me to get some new STEM curriculum that will help me plan valuable lessons. Finally, the Stem building kit and the blocks will be used for early finishers. I will have the materials ready and students will be able to build and design different things.
