My Project

First Grade is an important time of learning foundational skills in math and becoming a fluent reader. These skills are essential to live long learning, but that’s not all they will need to navigate life. They will need skills in creativity, teamwork, and problem solving. I believe providing time for them to discover and build in their own way will develop more confident learners. Three of my requests allow students to create a path for things to move and create structures of their choosing. Another is making a habitat that meets our science TEKS. Children need to know they are capable of great things.
