Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students need additional materials to supplemental our old Science and Social Studies curriculum. Students love reading and learning from Scholastics magazines. They are kid friendly and provide lots of great information and project ideas. The best part is each child gets their own and is able to take it home as additional reading resources. Students look forward to watching interactive video and creating projects that expand the lessons from the magazines. These activities provide students with opportunities to expand their knowledge on a subject and allows then to have additional resources to read and create crafts on Science and Social Studies!
