My Project

Hello! The eighth-grade students here at MMS have been learning about forces and motion throughout the year. One of the culminating projects of the year will be a DIY Roller Coaster that will be the basis of their STEM Fair projects.

The materials that are requested will help to provide the students with some basic supplies for their roller coaster.

The paper plates, cardboard tubes, straws, paper, and tape will allow the students to have the same basic material list. This will help the students to all begin with the same set of materials to better build the project.

My wonderful students are so creative and with the right materials, their creativity can shine and flourish! These students are so amazing at drawing and building. I want to give them the best chance at succeeding in the STEM Fair this year.
