Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students of today require multiple opportunities to stimulate their creativity through exploration and expression. Having a classroom environment that allows students to experience interactive, hands-on activities promotes discourse and teamwork. Students will be able to work independently as well as collaboratively on projects in a noncompetitive environment which enables them to take healthy risks, explore openly, and create.
STEM centers can be used across all curricular areas as an innovative alternative to typical learning centers.
These STEM centers promote an engaging and positive classroom culture. This interdisciplinary approach helps students to succeed using hands-on problem-based learning in a balanced classroom setting.
For our STEM centers we also need a bookcase and storage bins for organization.
