Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love interactive science and STEM activities. They enjoy the STEM process of designing, planning, trying out their ideas then revising and having another go at it.
To keep their scientific minds sharp and build their capacity to see themselves as future scientists we need materials to foster their designs.
The students would love to expand their thinking by building and learning about circuits using Snap Circuits.
My students also began gardening last year. With the hydroponics kits they can dive deeper into their understanding of plants and its role in our environment.
