This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class has 18 curious, creative, and smart young learners. I love to see their smiles every morning when they come to school. A big part of our learning happens through center play. They are so excited to explore and play with their classroom friends. There are different centers in my Pre-K class for students to decide where they want to work and play.
Imagine how great it would be if we could add STEM items to our science center.
A digital microscope would really help our young learners study nature items up close with clarity and magnification to zoom into little details. I can already envision how excited our students will be to observe items with a digital microscope and all the learning that will happen.
The Design and Build Engineering Kits would engage our young learners in every real life problem solving. They could design and build many different bridges, homes, and vehicles. These kits will help our students improve their fine motor skills, which is so important for young learners.
A solar system view finder would be a great way for our young learners to start to learn about the moon, sun, and planets. They can look at the different solar system images and talk about what they see.
