My Project
Each year I have 210-220 students over 6 periods. We need good rock sets to explore earth's three major rock types. The 7th graders like hands-on projects. I notice a significant difference in student learning when they work in collaborative, hands-on groups. Five boxes for each class will enable me to have groups of 3-4 students. This way, I can have stations and groups around the room to discuss the rock types.
The puzzles are a fun classroom management tool that combines STEM and engineering in interactive puzzles.
