Help me give my students the ability to have a clean classroom with lots of craft supply to help fuel our different STEM projects to help guide them in their journey through high school and beyond.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There are a lot of different items on my list that may not seem to match up. However, I can guarantee that all of these items will greatly benefit my students during our Design Thinking unit. The different cleaning products will ensure our technology and areas are clean and organized. The different craft materials will allow students to build prototypes while learning about the different steps needed to complete a project in many scientific fields.
The goal of this project is to expose my students to their creative side while letting them explore their ideas and creations.
Students will go through our Design Unit to discover what it’s like to design, build, test and re-design their different ideas. Students will learn to use their materials or “negotiate” for more supplies. They will end the unit with new ideas of what and where they want to/go in the future.
My students are inner city students who are unable to explore much of the world around them. I want to bring this to them in a creative and fulfilling way.
