STEM: Cubelets + Tablets = Coding Robots!

My Students

My students are amazing. They come from all over the world, speak dozens of languages, work hard every day, and love science! My school is truly heaven, and the students I have the privilege of teaching are the best I've ever known. I'm the luckiest teacher alive.

My students rock science.

My class is hands-on always, and my students are motivated and engaged. I love watching them learn and watching them grow. My greatest hope is that each child leaves my classroom believing that science is the greatest class ever, and the kind, generous gifts Donors Choose donors have given us have made that happen!

My Project

Every year, I take my students to the Museum of Science and Industry, where I watch them lose their marbles with joy and excitement when they see the Cubelets display in the Robot Revolution exhibition.

Cubelets are perfect for exploring robotics and coding - they are intuitive, teach important concepts, and, most importantly, my students love them and have asked me many times to bring them into our classroom.

These three projects are my dream. They will give students the opportunity to explore robotics and coding through curiosity, discovery and play. The Cubelets can be pulled apart and reworked easily, connected to a tablet using the Bluetooth cube, and coded using the tablet. The kids will be thrilled.

Because of donors like you, my students have had the most amazingly enriched science class. They have launched rockets. They have dissected brains (on Halloween!). And now, your kind generosity will provide my students with the opportunity to code and build robots. I can't even begin to express how much I appreciate all of you!
