What an amazing opportunity for my students to have resources that we do not already have to use for learning and growing.
We are part of a Title I school where everyone qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. Our kids love to have fun and learn. We want to give every kid the opportunity to learn more and be good at what they do. We want them to leave school feeling successful in everything they do.
My Project
As a kid, you always think about what you would like to be when you grow up. Everyone wants to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, or nurse, but there is so much more out there. These awesome books and materials will give my kids and others an avenue of interest.
Creativity is a Mindset, Not an Art Set!
With these materials, we can become engineers, scientists, and so much more. Using the Ollie Sphero is a great way to learn to code. The Curiscope Virtuali-Tee is AWESOME! Students will use an app from the company and they are able to see the inside of the body. These t-shirts and the app is just great. I have one in my classroom now, and my students love to put it on and do report, google slides, and even once tried to do a video about the body using the t-shirt and app. Cubelets robot blocks are the ideal way to explore robotics, coding, design, engineering, and more. All of these materials will be put to great use in the classroom. What a great way to learn and have fun while you are learning. My students and others have come from so many different backgrounds, but regardless of where they are from, or what they look like, each kid has a chance to become what they want in life. Help me open up that way of thinking through these books and materials!
