My Project

Students who are dedicated and complete their daily assignments need rewarding activities that will not only reinforce them completing assignments, but also continue to provide challenging tasks that will engage their minds.

Enrichment is highly needed in the classroom to help students to continue to grow and meet their educational needs.

By having the option of STEM bins I believe their motivation will increase along with scientific thinking. The engineering design process will be used while students engage in these STEM challenges. STEM bins align with the Next Generation Science Standards Engineering Practices.

I have noticed major differences in my students when they are given choices, whether it is choosing their seating or a STEM challenge to complete. Student choice increases engagement along with reinforcing the SEL domains of self-management, self-awareness, and decision making.
