This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My after-school students are amazing, funny, kind, caring, and resilient. Our after-school program helps keep students safe once the bell rings at the end of the day. We provide engaging enrichment and academic classes at our low-income school. They love staying after school and have much fun learning from their dedicated teachers and volunteers.

These manipulatives (Clip Create Builders, Building Brick STEM, Mosaic Creations Magnetic Designer, and Magna Tiles) will use during our STEM classes during free choice play and help them create, build, explore, experiment, and collaborate with their peers.

These supplies will help increase STEM awareness, which is the main focus of our vertical team, with hopes of getting our students' college & career ready.
