it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is filled with third graders that have amazing potential. I am dedicated to providing my students with as many academic opportunities as possible. The students in my classroom come from extremely low economic backgrounds. 98% of the students at my school are on free or reduced lunch. A lot of the students I receive are low academically and don't get a chance to experience or to be exposed to various specialties like coding and engineering.
My goal is to provide my students with STEM opportunities to improve their engineering, coding and science skills to prepare and expose them to various careers.
My Project
These materials will make a huge difference in my students learning. My students have never had the opportunity to code or have even used technology such as coding mice. The ability to understand and code is becoming a highly valued skill that can possibly help to open doors for my students future. The STEM materials will be used to allow my students to explore their own design processing. By being able to create something from nothing allows them to be creative and explore real-life situations of building and designing.
I want to provide my students with the best education possible so that they can have bright and successful futures.
Hopefully, by being able to see and design concepts related to real life it will spark passion for a future career in the field of STEM
