This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid has impacted our students learning because of the lack of foundational skills in reading and math since most of these students missed most or part of kinder and first grade. Some students were online, some came back in person in 2021, but many lacked the foundational skills in kindergarten because they were not able to finish kinder when covid happened.

Learning is very different as everyone is trying to catch up on skills for third graders that were missed in kinder.

These materials directly impact their learning to help close those gaps.

I would love to use splash math games for math fluency as students continue to practice their facts. The power pen will be amazing for students to practice fluency on addition, subtraction and multiplication and division!
