Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our elementary school is located in southern Houston, Texas. We serve almost 500 PK-4th grade students from low-income and multicultural/bilingual homes. Our community is tight-knit, and we are extremely fortunate to be strongly supported by our families and local businesses.

I am requesting hands-on materials and books about STEM skills and careers, from magnets to simple machines.

My goal is for our elementary students to further their STEM curiosity through makerspace activities and library books to become stronger students and possibly go into STEM careers.

This project includes STEM activity sets, such as blocks and games, and plenty of non-fiction and biography books. Thank you for your continued support! Our students really appreciate it!
