This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have various disabilities and come to our classroom for individualized instruction. We want to make sure our classroom is filled with materials and books which spark their interest and increase creativity. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Struggling readers will often pick up a comic book because the pictures and visuals are less intimidating than a typical book. Students who read these graphic novels find reading fun and begin to read more for enjoyment!

Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is a perfect way to build better readers.

My students will love getting their hands on these STEM activities and books.
