This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Ours students love science and when they come to the library they are always excited to explore books in the science section. Currently, our science section of the library is outdated and lacking in engaging topics. There are so many fun and exciting new science related books that we would love to add to our library collection.
Reading about, and being exposed to STEM topics is the first step in building future scientists!
We want to build upon our students' natural inquiry by providing them with books on a variety of science topics. By helping students explore and build upon their love of science, we are supporting STEM learning from the library.
