This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th grade students love to play and build structures, and I would love to combine their curiosity with activities that align with STEM, specifically focusing on basic engineering. Last year, I added a few blocks to my classroom, but this year, I would like to offer my students magnetic blocks that will take their minds to the next level. They will need to think about foundations, weight, structure, etc.

In order to offer more flexible seating options, we are needing sitting stools that can be used for our small group instruction table or for reading.
