My Project
I teach kindergarten in our city. This is my 18th year teaching. I have students from varied ethnic backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. My students come to me with a wide variation of skill level and knowledge. Some students start the year not even knowing how to hold a pencil or name shapes. Other students can read when they enter my doors.
It is very important for me to keep all levels of students engaged and having fun while learning.
I plan to purchase stem building toys and materials as well as storage and organization containers. With these stem bin baskets available students who are finished with their assigned activities will have something constructive and creative to do while I am able to assist students who need extra help.
These stem bins will be very helpful in motivating students to get their assigned tasks complete so they can have free build time to create and explore with the stem bins. I would like to thank you in advance for your support.
