This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school. We have over 750 students ranging from Pre-K to 4th grade with many unique learners from many diverse backgrounds. My second grade classroom is filled with wonderful students who love to solve problems, read, write, and interact with one another all while showing their unique personalities.

I am blessed to have an enormous classroom family of 42 students along with my co-teacher.

My Project

Please help my students bring STEM Bins into our classroom! These are great tools to help them develop their brains. We can use the STEM Bins in our classroom work centers and during indoor recess when the weather is nasty.

STEM Bins encourage students to create, invent, and solve problems using real-world challenges.

Overall, a STEM curriculum or initiative is meant to engage all students in learning by allowing investigative and hands on activities while having fun! The materials and bins will allow our class to have hands-on activities while staying organized.
