This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Full STEAM AHEAD! This school year has started and I love this new crew. I can not wait to see what this year has in store for them. They have so much potential and as an official STEAM School I hope that I can help them see all the possibilities in their future. I hope to bring them endless opportunities to see how they can become problem solvers and critical thinkers to be the world changers we need. These students do not always have all the resources readily available to others, but with the help of donors choose I hope to change that.
My Project
We need ETA hand2mind STEM bins and magnetic spinners for some hands on ready to go engaging activities. STEM bins are all the rage. Thanks to readily available materials there are some amazing STEM Bins that provide ready to go materials as well as challenge cards to get students thinking. These resources will be used to enrich the students in developing into problem solvers and critical thinkers.
The future world CHANGERS are in my classroom!
They are ready to spin the spinner for some exciting incentives to make sure they are focused and engaged on learning each day. They will be practicing their 4C's- communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking- through the use of the STEM bins. These resources will surely aide in authentic engagement throughout this school year!
