Stem Bins to Spark Young Innovators!

Help me give my students new stem bin materials to allow them to make, create and build!

My Project

My students are bright, curious, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds, and more than 50% qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Despite the challenges they face outside the classroom, they show up eager to learn, ask questions, and explore the world around them. They thrive when given hands-on learning experiences that let them be creative problem-solvers.

STEM bins are hands-on kits filled with building materials like pixel art kits, magnetic tiles, straw connectors, and more.

These bins allow students to explore concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math through play and discovery.

With your help, I will create a classroom set of STEM bins that students can use during our STEM rotations. Each bin will offer open-ended challenges to encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.

For many of my students, this may be their first opportunity to engage with materials that encourage engineering and design thinking. STEM bins not only build academic skills, but they also help students build perseverance, communication skills, and a growth mindset.

As a Title I school, we often have limited resources for enrichment materials like STEM tools. Your support will help ensure that every student—not just those with access at home—can experience the joy of innovation and exploration.
