Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Being a kid in school these days can be tough. Every single one of my students learns a little differently from another and reacts differently as well. I work in a low income/high poverty area so my students are faced with different challenges.
My students are amazing, smart, and very talented.
Even though they have struggles at home, they always come to school with big smiles on their faces and they are willing to learn. I want to give them all that I can so they can be successful in school.
My Project
With your help, I will provide my students with LEGOS, magnetic building tiles and brain flakes. During class time, we will use these items to build new and exciting creations. These STEM bins will allow students to open their minds to creativity and dream big of the future to come.
I want to provide an opportunity during the school day for my students to have an open mind and challenge their imagination.
I want to encourage my students to use and understand these resources so they can develop in knowing that they can achieve success in pursuing a STEM career in their future.
