My Students
My students have a great love of learning. They enjoy coming to school each day. Most of my students are from a low economical social status. They don't have much so they cherish the things they do have. Our school has more than 60% of our students on free lunch. This means we have a lower socio-economic status and are a title one school.
My students have a deep love of learning and want to explore learning in many different ways.
They love coming to school and come excited about what the day will hold for them. These students are excited about life and learning.
My Project
With your donations I want to create science, technology, engineering, and math bins for my classroom. STEM is something that has been talked about for years. There is a good reason why teachers are using it more and more in their classroom. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math are skills that help solve real-world problems. I need supplies to create STEM bins in my classroom. Popsicle sticks with Velcro on the ends will allow my students to build and explore many different structures along with the Tinker Toys and interlock toys. Link ‘n Learn links are another resource my students will be able to find their own creativity and gain self confidence and building and creating structures with. Letter resources will help my students explore words. Spelling many different words and getting exposed to letters in different ways. These are just some of the ways that my students we be able to learn in different ways.
The donations for this project will help my student find a love for learning, creativeness, self-esteem, curiosity and understanding.
All of these things are so important for students to learn while in the elementary years. This project will help to provide many opportunities for my students to believe in their own abilities and gain a real-world understanding for the things they are learning in school. It is so important for students to feel achievement and gain confidence in their own learning and through your donations I hope to bring all of this into my classroom.
