This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach biological life science classes and physical science classes, incorporating hands-on, project-based learning in my classroom. I also include technology, helping students develop 21st-century presentation skills and community service. My types contain STEM and STEAM skills for engineering. Additionally, we focus on social-emotional learning, teaching essential life skills, social justice, and innovation. My students are a diverse group of enthusiastic learners who enjoy applying creativity and hands-on models to their learning.

My students need giant microbes and classroom basics to learn about engineering, life science and biology, enhancing classroom instruction and learning.

These classroom essentials and other materials will enhance student understanding and research, promote critical thinking, encourage inclusivity and community service, while make learning more engaging and fun. We will use these resources as samples and examples to learn essential concepts and gain further understanding. This project promotes community service and requires meaningful research, planning, and organization.

This project will teach compassion as we explore renewable energy physics for sustainable power sources reducing environmental impact. Students can learn to see the world through others' eyes by studying renewable energy in different global contexts, examining how communities in various countries are impacted by and adapting to climate change, or how access to clean energy affects quality of life. This can foster empathy and a broader perspective. Studying renewable energy can teach students how access to clean, affordable energy can reduce suffering by improving health, economic opportunities, and quality of life in disadvantaged communities. They learn that reducing pollution and mitigating climate change impacts can prevent hardships like energy poverty, resource conflicts, and climate-related disasters. We will assess their ability to identify how energy poverty impacts quality of life and analyze case studies on how clean energy improves health and livelihoods. Success is measured through projects and discussions demonstrating insights.
